OPEN POSITIONS

Forklift Operator

Responsible for supplying the production area with produce as requested, responsible for loading and unloading trucks, entering inventory information into our computer system, cycle counts, loading shipping containers.

QA Supervisors

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for supporting all functions related to internal, customer and regulatory quality requirements. The QA Supervisor provides production floor leadership to the Quality Assurance Technicians and will serve as an integral contributor for quality improvement. Quality Assurance Supervisor position contributes to the success of Firestone Pacific Foods by ensuring the overall quality of raw materials and finished products in accordance with company’s standards. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Quality Technicians. This individual must follow quality assurance standards and align the organization to achieve these standards. The QA Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of quality control from receiving, to blending, packaging and to the customers’ truck. The individual ensures accuracy, providing oversight, in the production and manufacture of frozen fruit products. The Quality Assurance Supervisor will work with plant management to ensure the highest standards are achieved in terms of environmental compliance, product quality, plant efficiency and availability.

Inventory/Forklift Clerk

The Inventory Forklift Clerk records and maintains the flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse, from receiving, shipping, issuing, handling for stock at firestone warehouses. The Inventory Forklift Clerk is responsible for ensuring the correct product and quantity are issued, received, and shipped correctly within the inventory system both manually entering and scanning product into system. This position reports inventory shortages and discrepancies directly to Inventory Lead and Supervisor.

Yard Staff

The “Yard Staff” takes direction from the Production Manager. The Yard Staff readies and stores production packaging materials and processing supplies. The Yard Staff monitors and reports inventory levels for both packaging materials and processing supplies. This position works directly with Inventory Control Lead and Logistics Coordinator.

Sanitation

The Sanitation Staff takes direction for the SVP of Operations. The Sanitation Staff reports directly to Sanitation Lead. The Sanitation Staff ensures all HACCP, SQF, GMP’s, Allergens and Organic processing requirements are followed. This position works directly with the Production Manager to ensure the production schedule is met.

Production 1

The “Production Floor Staff – 1” takes directions from the Production Lead or Supervisor as to what area to work. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is expected to visually inspect and sort products to customer specifications. The Production Floor Staff – 1 must communicate quality deviations to QA Technicians immediately. This position helps ensure that all products are processed to the highest standard of quality. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is required to notify the Machine Operator of any mechanical issues.

Maintenance Technician III

Reporting to the Operations Manager, under minimal supervision, leads and participates in a wide variety of advanced skilled journey-level duties for preventative and corrective maintenance involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, equipment, devices, and machinery use in the operation of facilities production lines and performs related duties as assigned. 10 or more years’ experience required and expected to be self-driven with minimal supervision required. Must be able to not only complete all work but have ability to document work in Fiix software as well as support overall system implementation.

Senior IT Specialist & Network

The Senior Network Administrator and IT Specialist is responsible for managing Firestone’s Information Security Program, working with the third-party managed services provider (MSP) on network administration and other IT projects, administering the company’s IT and communications hardware, and coordinating third-party vendor support of office telephones and cell phones. Network Administration and Data/Site Security Liaise with managed services provider (MSP) on configuration of network hardware such as servers and routers. Act as on-site contact with MSP to facilitate zero trust segmentation on internal networks. Oversee management of site security badges/fobs including set up and issuance of fobs to new employees and deactivation of fobs upon employee termination. Manage Firestone’s video surveillance program including ongoing maintenance and periodic upgrades of equipment, providing video footage to support incident investigations, and controlling access of video surveillance to designated individuals. Develop and maintain Information Security Program (ISP) documentation, policy management and data gathering focused on preventing data security breaches. Review monthly security update provided by third-party MSP and elevate issues requiring attention to CFO. Hardware Management Oversee management of Firestone’s on-site IT hardware assets including sourcing and tracking using asset tags, laptop computers and peripheral equipment such as docking stations and monitors. Coordinate the procurement and maintenance of audio/visual equipment in break rooms and conference rooms, including budgeting for and implement periodic upgrades. Manage the company’s cell phone program and land lines including vendor management, pricing negotiations, and procurement of equipment including new phones/upgrades for authorized users and discontinuation of phones from terminated employees. Supervise ongoing maintenance and support of copiers and fax machines. Handle other hardware support as needed including collaborating with managed services provider (MSP) to control temperatures in computer server rooms. Monitoring of Manufacturing Assets Monitor and maintain supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) hardware and software. Develop and publish user-defined reports drawing data from SCADA in support of manufacturing and maintenance activities. Coordinate and support direct communication between SCADA system and manufacturing assets. Set up periodic, IT topical “Lunch and Learn” sessions for employees. Manage EDI and other software implementations with third parties.
