OPEN POSITIONS

General Ledger Accountant

The General Ledger Accountant performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on General Ledger accounting. This position is also responsible for supporting the Controller & Sr Accountant in conducting key activities such as Month-End close, Account Reconciliations, process improvements and financial statement preparation.This position also requires working in collaboration with various departments. The General Ledger Accountant should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst position is imperative for the financial planning of our company. This position is responsible for tracking our company’s financial performance against a plan. The Financial Analyst will provide business partner support to the operations, sales, accounting and HR as needed.

Payroll/Benefits Specialist

The Payroll/Benefit Specialist ensures all payroll and benefit procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies, maintains payroll files and reports, and prepares and runs bi-weekly payroll. This position also maintains the HRIS, data entry and reporting functions. This position report to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.

Industrial Engineering-Internship

Firestone Pacific Foods seeks an Industrial Engineering Intern for the fall 2022 term to help the company’s manufacturing leadership team to document bottlenecks in the blending and packing operations, research options with input from front-line staff to eliminate those bottlenecks and to design efficient and effective solutions including process changes and capital investments. This job will require a hybrid work schedule: a combination of on-site and remote work.

Maintenance Tech III

Reporting to the Operations Manager, under minimal supervision, leads and participates in a wide variety of advanced skilled journey-level duties for preventative and corrective maintenance involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, equipment, devices, and machinery use in the operation of facilities production lines and performs related duties as assigned. 10 or more years’ experience required and expected to be self-driven with minimal supervision required. Must be able to not only complete all work but have ability to document work in Fiix software as well as support overall system implementation.

Forklift Operator

Responsible for supplying the production area with produce as requested, responsible for loading and unloading trucks, entering inventory information into our computer system, cycle counts, loading shipping containers.

Sanitation

The Sanitation Staff takes direction for the SVP of Operations. The Sanitation Staff reports directly to Sanitation Lead. The Sanitation Staff ensures all HACCP, SQF, GMP’s, Allergens and Organic processing requirements are followed. This position works directly with the Production Manager to ensure the production schedule is met.

Seasonal Inventory Clerk

The “Inventory Control Clerk” records and maintains the flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse, from receiving, shipping, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock in all warehouses. This position reports inventory shortages and discrepancies directly to the Inventory Control Lead.

Seasonal Yard Staff

The “Yard Staff” takes direction from the Production Manager. The Yard Staff readies and stores production packaging materials and processing supplies. The Yard Staff monitors and reports inventory levels for both packaging materials and processing supplies. This position works directly with Inventory Control Lead and Logistics Coordinator.

Seasonal Forklift Operator

The “Forklift Operator” is responsible for operating a forklift to accurately move, locate, relocate, stack and count materials. The Forklift Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. This position also Checks and Fills Orders as part of required duties. The Forklift Operator works directly with Production Leads, Supervisors, and Manager. The Forklift operator will be responsible for loading and unloading auto dumpers and assisting on the floor with the production partners when the lift is not needed.

Plant Electrician

Primarily with a focus in the electrical repair and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, conducting electrical surveys, inspections, tightening of connections, maintaining weight cells, photo eyes, and other electrical related equipment and sensors especially those pertaining to safety systems. Must be able to enter completion notes consistently into Fiix after work orders are complete.

Yard Custodian

The “Yard Custodian” takes direction from the Yard Lead along with the Grounds Supervisor. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dock area. This includes operating a vertical baler, forklift, breaking down production materials (totes, cardboard, plastic, pallets), picking up trash around the facility and maintaining the organization of the yard.

Farm

The Farm Laborer starts as a entry level position with little to no previous experience required. This is a predominantly physical/manual labor position. Farm Laborers will manually plant, cultivate, harvest, pack, prune, and maintain crops under the instructions of the Field Supervisor or Team Leaders. Duties may include applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops. Farm Laborer may also participate in irrigation activities.

Production

The “Production Floor Staff – 1” takes directions from the Production Lead or Supervisor as to what area to work. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is expected to visually inspect and sort products to customer specifications. The Production Floor Staff – 1 must communicate quality deviations to QA Technicians immediately. This position helps ensure that all products are processed to the highest standard of quality. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is required to notify the Machine Operator of any mechanical issues.

Truck Driver Class A

We are looking for a licensed Truck Driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries. A Class A CDL or commercial driver license is required. Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test.
