Front Office/HR Assistant
The front office HR assistant is an administrative support employee that is responsible for performing general administrative and clerical support duties, including managing the front office reception and HR assistant duties. This position handles all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. The person is the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. In addition, this person handles a wide range of clerical tasks to support the HR department and Leadership team.
Director of Global Supply Chain Management
The Director of Global Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading a team responsible for Firestone Pacific Foods’ sourcing and replenishment of raw materials – primarily fresh fruit and purchased frozen fruit – as well as packaging and sundry items. Collectively, these purchases account for the largest single cost category in the company. Key accountabilities include analysis of “make versus buy” fruit sourcing options with a goal of achieving the lowest landed costs while preventing risks of stock outs, supplier research and development, negotiation of supplier agreements, building sourcing plans to fulfill customer orders, and oversight of ongoing replenishment activities. An overarching objective is to make Firestone a partner of choice among our suppliers.
Responsible for supplying the production area with produce as requested, responsible for loading and unloading trucks, entering inventory information into our computer system, cycle counts, loading shipping containers.
The Sanitation Staff takes direction for the SVP of Operations. The Sanitation Staff reports directly to Sanitation Lead. The Sanitation Staff ensures all HACCP, SQF, GMP’s, Allergens and Organic processing requirements are followed. This position works directly with the Production Manager to ensure the production schedule is met.
The “Production Floor Staff – 1” takes directions from the Production Lead or Supervisor as to what area to work. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is expected to visually inspect and sort products to customer specifications. The Production Floor Staff – 1 must communicate quality deviations to QA Technicians immediately. This position helps ensure that all products are processed to the highest standard of quality. The Production Floor Staff – 1 is required to notify the Machine Operator of any mechanical issues.
The “Production Floor Staff – 2” takes directions from the Production Lead or Supervisor as to what area to work. The Production Floor Staff – 2 is expected to visually inspect and sort products to customer specifications. Inventory Control Clerk
The “Inventory Control Clerk” records and maintains the flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse, from receiving, shipping, issuing, handling and accounting for inventory stock in all warehouses. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory cycle counts and balances. This position reports inventory shortages and discrepancies directly to the Inventory Control Lead.
Production Supervisor-Day Shift
The role of the production supervisor is to manage the production floor. A production supervisor is tasked with increasing our production stats while reducing our total cost outlay. Duties include ensuring supplies and materials are in a positive flow and that all equipment is functional and adhere to safety standards.
Maintenance Technician III
Reporting to the Operations Manager, under minimal supervision, leads and participates in a wide variety of advanced skilled journey-level duties for preventative and corrective maintenance involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, equipment, devices, and machinery use in the operation of facilities production lines and performs related duties as assigned. 10 or more years’ experience required and expected to be self-driven with minimal supervision required. Must be able to not only complete all work but have ability to document work in Fiix software as well as support overall system implementation.
The “Yard Custodian” takes direction from the Yard Lead along with the Grounds Supervisor. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dock area. This includes operating a vertical baler, forklift, breaking down production materials (totes, cardboard, plastic, pallets), picking up trash around the facility and maintaining the organization of the yard.
HR Recruiter Coordinator
The HR Recruiting Coordinator will be reporting to our SR. HR Recruiter. This person will be responsible for screening applicants, interviewing, and scheduling interviews. This individual will be recruiting for multiple positions within our production and warehouse facility.
